Job Opportunity

Emerald Cities Collaborative (ECC), HVAC Institute, Seattle Jobs Initiative (SJI), Pacific Associates, and The Construction Industries Training Council (CITC) are co-sponsoring a FREE 12-week HVAC/R Training and Career Preparation Academy. To spread the word for this training, career navigators, job coaches, career counselors, and community connectors are invited to learn more in a 30-minute webinar. Participating in this webinar will provide updated information on the HVAC/R training academy and equip you with the information to refer candidates to this once-in-a-lifetime skill-building opportunity! Also, feel free to share this webinar invitation with others who might have training prospects to refer.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment in the HVAC/R industry is projected to grow 15 percent from 2016 to 2026, much faster than the average for all occupations. We would love to saturate this industry with members of the BIPOC community. People with this HVAC/R foundation are more competitive for entry-level positions in the industry. Occupations involve designing, selling, installing, servicing, and repairing HVAC/R systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
