Free Job Training programs starting in April in King County.

NW Carpenter’s Institute (NWCI) Exterior/Interior Systems Carpenter Pre-Apprenticeship Training (3-weeks, full-time) starts April 4 in Kent

WHAT: 5 spots still available for this fast-paced and physically challenging entry-level carpenter training that will provide graduates an opportunity to fast track their careers with preferred entry into the carpenters union apprenticeship

WHEN/WHERE: In-person classes April 4th-22nd, Mon-Fri 8am-4pm @ NWCI Kent training site https://www.nwci.org/about-us/our-locations/

COSTS: 100% covered

Minimum Requirements include:

  • 18+ years old

  • Commit to being and staying drug free

  • WA State Driver’s License and reliable transportation

  • Available to attend all daily classes and want to work toward a career in construction

  • Construction experience NOT required

  • Preferred qualifications include basic math skills, ability to read tape measure, and some familiarity with power tools
