As young people prepare for the school year, we’re teaming up with community partners to host a drive-through High School Resource Fair to distribute back packs, school supplies, food, and other resources to young people and families. This event is hosted by Best Starts’ reengagement program, Reconnect to Opportunity (ReOpp), which supports young people ages 16 to 24 as they seek employment and education resources in King County. Our outreach specialists work with young people who have experienced educational and professional barriers throughout their journey. We work with the community to connect young people to programs that support student centered needs and growth.
